My question about the best way to immigrate...@Soma

My question about the best way to immigrate to Australia as a pharmacist, i mean the best visa type.

If you already have a positive skills assessment from Australian Pharmacy Council then all you need to do is to have the right score in IELTS and lodge an application for general skilled migration.

You can apply for any of the visas.

Visa subclass 175 ---------> General skilled migration independent.

Visa subclass 176 --------> State sponsored skilled migration. Provided you have a state sponsorship. That happens when the profession is on the on-demand list of a state.

There are other permanent residency visas such as Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme visa subclass 119. You need an employer sponsorship to be awarded this visa.

Second, I need your opinion about employer sponsored visa, is it available or its too hard to find sponsorship?

There are some temporary employer sponsored visas such as a 457 visa.
You need employer sponsorship to be awarded a sucblass 457 visa.

Employer sponsorships do happen and it all depends upon the employer.

You will need to convince an employer to sponsor you. But that happens rarely for low level jobs as the procedure is costly and requires the employer to give guarantees.

Also, can a migration agent help me to get a sponsored visa?

Only a state sponsored visa.

Finally, im thinking about going there via a tourist visa and looking for a job there, would it work or its money wasting?

You can try but I would not recommend this.

Try to get a permanent resident visa which gives you unlimited work rights. That would solve a lot of problems.

Kind Regards

JunaidJunaid Noorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14952811793361022532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8712598024364021104.post-18232926188242587582010-11-18T05:40:17.883+11:002010-11-18T05:40:17.883+11:00My question about the best way to immigrate to Aus...My question about the best way to immigrate to Australia as a pharmacist, i mean the best visa type.
Second, I need your opinion about employer sponsored visa, is it available or its too hard to find sponsorship?
Also, can a migration agent help me to get a sponsored visa?
Finally, im thinking about going there via a tourist visa and looking for a job there, would it work or its money wasting?

These are my 3 questions and sorry about being unclear
Thank u in advance.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12451433234353212269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8712598024364021104.post-17876702391897013212010-11-17T11:11:50.820+11:002010-11-17T11:11:50.820+11:00@Soma
