Just wanted to make a clarification regarding the points system for age.
Previously I had misinformed some of my blog readers that you can only be awarded 25 points once you reach the age of 29 years. However, the information I gave is incorrect.
You can still get 30 points for age even if you are 29 years and 3 months old OR 29 years and 11 months old. However, once you become 29 years and 365 days old, you become 30 years old and then you will get 25 points for age instead of 30 points.
I hope this valuable information helps every one.

Thank u Junaid.. Have u heard about the changes in MODL..? I herd that some professions are removed from the list? Can u please put a blog on this..?

The department website does say that certain trade professions have been removed from CSL.
You will need to check the MODL to see if the profession is listed on the MODL or not.

I wanted to know that the 60 points that we get for doing 2 yrs course
or for getting a job which is related to the degree that we do from australia.
Also wanted to thak u Junaid as teh points awarded forn age are being mis-interpreted as 30 if a person is below 25 yrs , and 25 points after 25 yrs of age

You get 60 points for nominating a 60 point profession on the SOL and proving that you skilled in that occupation by obtaining a positive skills assessment.
Studying in an Australian university for 2 yrs is a pre-requisite for 885/886 visas.
Studying for two yrs doesn't fetch you any points.
It only makes you eligible to apply for 885/886 visas.

You get 30 points even if you are 29 yrs and X days old but less then 30 yrs old.
Once you touch 30 you get 25 points. Not 30 points.
